In honour of the US Special Forces, each challenge has been inspired by actual Delta Force selection tests. Please note that this challenge series is in no way associated with any military organisation. This event is not intended to provide an authentic military experience. The running and fitness challenges therein have merely taken inspiration from selection tests in honour of our armed forces.
Their selection process takes place twice a year, once in March and once in September, lasting 4-weeks. During the course, instructors are looking for recruits who bear both incredible strength and endurance, a hybrid athlete that is crossed between a strongman and a marathon runner.

Delta Force's physical testing ends with a 40-mile (64 km) march to be completed for time; this is also colloquially known as "The Long Walk".
Completion points are awarded for achieving the set distance within the week. Bonus points are awarded for the least number of workouts it takes to achieve the target.
